Licensed programs at OPCC
There have been many questions surrounding enrollments for Summer camps, Oakwood's After School program, Ready, Set, School and September. Here are answers to some of the questions.
Summertime Fun:
Currently, our toddler program for the month of July and August has been filled - if you have submitted forms, you are still on our waiting list and we will connect if a space comes available.
The preschool Summertime Fun is currently being processed - we will send an email once forms are finalized.
Many people's plans do change so it is a possibility that a spot might come available. If you would like to register visit us online to register and to be put on the waitlist.
Cool Kids Camp & Oakwood Adventure Squad Camps:
We are in the process of finalizing the summer camps for both preschool, kindergartens and school agers. You may visit us online to register and to put yourself on the waitlist.
Oakwood After School Program Registration:
This registration will be happening soon and communication will be sent out to families by email to let you know when it is open.

EarlyON Programs
Did you know that EarlyON has a several Community Sites? It's true!
Join us over at 16 Mile Creek Sports Complex to get jiggy with us in our Moove and Groove program!
Happening every Tuesday afternoon from 1-2:30pm, it's perfect for children under 6 years! This drop-in program focuses on developing skills through music and movement. Together we will feel the beat, move our bodies and enjoy the chance to sing-along!
Already been out once today? Don't pack up again! Remember, EarlyON proudly offers a virtual Songs & Stories option every Friday at 1pm. Meet our incredible Educators online and enjoy our programs live from the comfort of your home!

Enrichment
Join us for Musical May with Suzie Sunshine on Thursday May 25, from 10:00 - 11:00 at NSR satellite. This is a one time class and is $25/child.

Licensed Care
(Discovery Station/ After School Program)
Half day licensed Discovery Station program
We will be starting our registration for September 2023 Discovery Station half day program at the beginning of March. New families will be sent an email to let them know registration is open and current families will have an opportunity to register beforehand.
As well as our half day program, we are hoping to be able to offer a Discovery Station licensed full day program starting this summer. Please watch out for an email in that will allow you to put yourself on a waiting list for those spaces. We cannot register for this program until our licensing is approved by the Ministry of Education.
Summer Programs at OPCC
We will be registering for our summer programs in April - In the past we have offered weekly half day camps and we are hoping to do this again this year along with other programs we have in store for children. Our Cool Kids Camps are very popular and loved by all - watch for this registration in April!
Oakwood After School Program
In May, we will be registering for our After School program at Oakwood Public School - children and parents have loved this program and had so much fun this year.

Once you have registered with us, all you need to sign into a program is your account email (the main email on the account) and your 6 digit alphanumeric PIN. Don't recall having a PIN? No worries, ask our educators for help once you arrive and they can assist you further.

Community Connections
Join us for Family Day Celebrations, OPCC will be partnering with Town of Oakville for community and celebrations. Join us for Shake, Rattle and Roll at 16 Mile Sports Complex on Monday February 20 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Enter the OPCC raffle for a chance to win a gift basket valued at over $350.00. United Way Contributions
We would like to thank the below organizations for their incredible generosity throughout 2022! We were able to support 378 families with seasonal clothing, backpacks filled with thoughtful items, outdoor sports equipment, array of gift cards, items for new babies, special arts & craft project materials, thoughtful Christmas gifts, books, items for setting up a new home, beautiful hand knitted items and special wooden toys. This would not have been possible without our many community partners. We would like to take this time to specially mention: EJ James School, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Hamilton, Firefighters of Oakville and Cornwall Wealth Management. Your organizations truly make a difference for our families and community, and we are extremely grateful!
Families... taKING CENTRE STAGE
This is the segment where we will highlight families, organizations and even educators for the excellence we see daily and just to bring you all some uplifting news to brighten your day.
For this first edition we would like to highlight our very own Lisa Henderson. Lisa attended OPCC programs when she was a child with her mother. It seems to have had quite an impact on her because not only does she now bring her little one Hannah to our programs, she is our very own EarlyON manager. We are so proud to have such a delight and veteran on our team who dedicates her time and energy into making sure that the EarlyON programs in Oakville are run with integrity, safely and cater to the families we service. We hope that little Hannah will aspire to be a future educator with us as well!
